I hear that. A lot. From people when I meet them for the first time. And I’ve come to realize that it probably means they are confusing me with some famous person I resemble. So their next comment is usually, “Oh! You know who you look like?” And then I typically hear one of these names:

And the list goes on.

You get the drift, right? Basically I look like any ethnic female with dark hair. I’m flattered by many of the comparisons. But forgive me for not having a sense of humor about being compared to a very talented yet well-known drug addict.
